Mindfulness, meditation, these words have become ubiquitous in our lives in recent years. They seem like familiar friends, but the real understanding of them seems to be minimal. Some common misunderstandings are: during meditation, you must completely empty your mind without any distracting thoughts, otherwise you are doing it wrong; or, during meditation, you should see something magical, otherwise you are doing it wrong. That’s not right; we also expect that through meditation, we will soon enter a world of meditation and tranquility. When we go to meditate with these incorrect concepts and expectations, no wonder we find it difficult and think "I can't do it", so we regard meditation as something advanced.

On the other hand, some people misunderstand meditation as just closing your eyes and daydreaming, or closing your eyes and thinking. There is no need to learn it, you can just do it yourself. This is another oversimplification of meditation. So, what is mindfulness? What is meditation? They are neither simple nor profound. They need to be understood, practiced, and embodied before they can bring countless benefits to our lives, and the world will never be the same again.

ing the moment is the first introductory series of mindfulness meditation courses in the ing meditation community. I hope it will help you:
Calm down and slow down to understand the wisdom of the body, develop a closer connection with it, understand the inertial operation of the mind, and learn how to become its master;
Break out of habitual ways of seeing, thinking, and doing. Get rid of overreactive behavioral patterns and replace them with more skillful responses. Learn mindfulness and meditation practices that can be practiced in every moment of daily life. Cultivate a spiritual dimension in your life.

It is suitable for those who have never been exposed to meditation, or who have a certain foundation but still want to consolidate the basic practice, and those who have practiced other systems of meditation but want to know more about insight/vipassana meditation.

Lesson 1: What is mindfulness? Why meditate?
Lesson 2: The Wisdom of the Body Lesson 3: The Storytelling Mind Lesson 4: Practice in the World

course structure:
One class per week, four classes in total, each ninety minutes, consisting of three parts: theme lecture, guided meditation and Q&A.
